ASMAZ Timber Frame Buildings’ Starts Mass Production.
ASMAZ Timber Frame Buildings has launched a new production plant that will put environmentalist building techniques, innovations and also developments in the main themes of timber engineering into the service of the sector and consumers. Automation production machinery installed by a special team that came from England in January, has been assembled and put into operation. Assembling works performed under the control of our architect Figen GÜNDAY who is responsible for production, were carried on in success.
Mehmet Akif ASMAZ, chairman of ASMAZ Energy Communication Construction, stating that they have entered into a development process in 2009 focusing on investments in accordance with the strategic investment decisions taken in 2008; underlines the fact that they put mass and automation production line into use without desisting from the investment decisions they took despite the global economic crisis. He also adds that they are making an effort to provide their city and country with added value creating employment by not postponing their investments.
ASMAZ who expresses that they have already begun to use the European Regulation for Timber Frame Buildings, with the code of E-5, which will enter into force in April 2010 at the same time in all EU member countries in the projects and manufactures they carry out; tells that they follow and have begun to bring the latest developments and technologies of the sector into use in their country. Within this process in which earthquakes and natural disasters are on the agenda, ASMAZ Timber Frame Buildings who has been successfully applying timber frame building system - the world’s most popular, reliable, healthy and light building system- in the country; has begun to mass-produce the timber frame components whose engineering calculations were made by making use of all the facilities of technology.
With the completion of machinery investments that will last all the year round in Timber Frame Buildings Factory, production of the engineered products will be carried out after 250-300 m3 structural timber has been treated. In the factory where roof trusses, floor trusses and wall panels will be produced; there will have been completed production automation and process of three basic elements forming timber frame buildings.
