As ASMAZ Timber Frame Buildings; we were invited to the Faculty of Architecture of ITU to conduct a seminar about Timber Engineering and Timber Frame Buildings.
There was performed a 3 hour presentation and interview work consisting of detailed information about timber engineering and timber frame buildings, for architecture students on the Building Technologies U.S.A. Taskısla Campus, ITU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture – on Tuesday, 17 November in 2009.
Our company chairman Mehmet Akif ASMAZ and Timber Frame Specialist Architect Figen GUNDAY participated as lecturers in the seminar performed with the attendance of Assisstant Prof .Dr. Emrah ACAR and Academician Dr. Gülfer TOPÇU-ORAZ.
It was observed that there was a broad participation throughout the faculty in the seminar, on timber frame buildings and timber engineering, to which the students studying in the department of ‘Project Management in Construction’ showed great interest. There was given detailed information about the subjects of structural timber and design, project and place of timber frame buildings in architecture during the seminar.
